Client: IM X Hamilton Court FX
Project type: brand development.
Role: art direction and design
Design agency: imlondon.co.uk
Year: 2023
Background: Hamilton Court FX delivers bespoke foreign exchange and treasury solutions to a diverse global client base. Following a complete rebrand, the company required creative direction to bring its new identity to life across all major communication touchpoints — including a redesigned logo, corporate brochure, website, digital marketing assets, and updated stationery suite.
The goal was to translate the refreshed brand into a cohesive visual system that reflected Hamilton’s evolution from a boutique FX brokerage into a modern, data-driven financial partner.
Insights: The old monochrome design felt formal and safe, but people described it as distant — too corporate for a company that actually prides itself on relationships and insight.
That insight drove the entire rebrand: visually, we brought in colour and energy to reflect the people behind the numbers. Strategically, we built a system that looks credible in finance but feels modern, confident, and human.
Objective: Ensure the refreshed brand identity translated consistently across print and digital formats, reinforcing Hamilton Court FX’s positioning as a forward-thinking financial partner within the Marex Group.
Approach: Developed and applied the new visual language across multiple platforms — from core stationery and pitch decks to social templates and client-facing collateral. Each design element was guided by principles of precision, clarity, and trust, reflecting the brand’s core values in global finance.
Impact: The cohesive rollout strengthened brand recognition and client engagement across digital channels, contributing to a 15% increase in qualified leads within the first quarter post-launch. Internal teams also reported faster adoption of the new brand toolkit, improving efficiency and consistency across marketing outputs.
